After Donald Trump’s upset victory over former Secretary of State and Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton, millions of people across the United States demonstrated their frustrations with the results. People’s chants echoed loudly for the world to hear, “Not my president!” Many questions remain.

President Elect Trump, who is bombastic with his outspoken radical ideology, has left a country and a city divided. Los Angeles is known as a “sanctuary city” for many immigrants who come here to build a new life, away from their crime-ridden native lands.

I had the opportunity to witness this historical event. These are a few faces of the people who took their concerns to the streets.
